By using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), we will work together to evaluate and challenge your negative beliefs and replace them with healthier ways of thinking.
Changing the way you think often allows you to act in healthier ways. Through counseling, you will begin to think and behave in renewed and healthier ways and be able to enjoy family, friends, and your life again. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP) for those who are struggling with insomnia and/or chronic pain and illness.
I am a facilitator and trainer in Certified Prepare/Enrich, which is a program for marital therapy and couples counseling. As well as individual counseling for everything listed previously.
Over the years I have connected with all types of people from different walks of life. I have realized that everyone needs help, no matter what their background is. Whether you are gay, straight, religious or not, it is my duty to ensure that you get the best care you need. I am not only educated by personal research, but from learning from my clients. I believe this gives me a unique set of skills to help anyone that decides to walk through my doors. I am here to help you, not to judge you.
